Healthy Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Healthy food can taste delicious and flavorful, and chocolate banana smoothie is the best example of it. This smoothie resembles dessert and is full of nutrients.
The healthy chocolate banana smoothie is quick to make as it gets ready in just 5 minutes. You only have to add all the ingredients in a blender jar, blend until the smooth texture and serve it right with whipped cream, ice-cream, or sliced bananas.
The smoothie is made of whole food like milk, bananas, and other healthy ingredients. Serve it in the morning to start your day with proteins, antioxidant-rich, fiber, and full of nourishing ingredients.
I love making it and lately, it has become one of my favorites for a quick evening snack. It keeps me full until dinner.
Tip: Moreover, you can freeze up your bananas for later use. If you have a bunch of bananas getting brown, just peel them, break them into half, pack it in a zip-lock bag, and freeze them. While making the smoothie you can use frozen bananas to make it chilled instead of ice-cubes.
Here, I am using fresh ripe bananas to make the smoothie. Ripe bananas are sweeter, so you do not have to add sweeteners for extra sweetness in the smoothie.
This healthy chocolate banana smoothie is kids-favorite. You can serve it to your kids as a morning breakfast or as a snack to boost-up their energy throughout the day.

- 2 Bananas
- 1 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 tbsp Honey Optional
- 1 cup Milk
- Sliced Bananas For Garnishing, Optional
Instructions
Method to make the chocolate banana smoothie:
- Take a blender jar. Add 2 peeled bananas, 1 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tbsp of honey, and 1 cup milk. Blend until smooth and frothy.
- Now take a bottle mug. Pour the smoothie into the mug.
- Your healthy chocolate banana smoothie is ready to serve. Garnish it with sliced bananas on top and enjoy it.
