Ingredients

Step-by-step instructions to make the best thick cold chocolate milkshake known as cold cocoa, easy and quick to make it at home. A perfect super chocolatey drink for your loved ones.

Take a saucepan. Add 1 cup full-fat milk, over medium flame heat, and bring the milk to simmer. In a bowl, take 1 tbsp of cornstarch, 2 tbsp of cocoa powder, and ½ cup of milk to make a thick paste.

Add the thick paste in the milk and 4 tbsp sugar. Stir until no lumps remain.

The mixture will eventually start getting thicker. Once it gets a little thicker then add ¼ cup of dark chocolate and turn off the flame. Whisk until the chocolate melts.

Once the mixture comes to room temperature, take a bottle mug, pour the mixture in the mug, and store it. Keep it in the refrigerator for 12 hours to cool down completely.

Now take a serving mug. Pour the cold cocoa mixture in the mug and garnish it with some chocolate chips. Your yummy thick cold chocolate milkshake is ready to drink.

If you are using semi-dark chocolate use less sugar because semi-dark chocolate is much sweeter.

Here, I am using 99% cocoa dark chocolate. You can use any dark chocolate.

You can garnish the thick cold chocolate milkshake with whipped cream, chocolate chips, ice cream, or sprinkle chopped dark chocolate.
