Instructions
Method to make thick hot chocolate:
Take a saucepan. Add 1 cup full-fat milk, over medium flame heat, and bring the milk to simmer. In a bowl, take 1 tbsp of cornstarch, 2 tbsp of cocoa powder, and ½ cup of milk to make a thick paste.
Add the thick paste in the milk and 4 tbsp sugar. Stir until no lumps remain.
The mixture will eventually start getting thicker. Once it gets a little thicker then add ¼ cup of dark chocolate and turn off the flame. Whisk until the chocolate melts.
Take a serving mug and pour the hot chocolate mixture in the mug. Your heavenly delicious hot chocolate is ready. Garnish it with some chocolate chips on top and serve it hot.

Notes
Here, I am using 99% cocoa dark chocolate. You can use any dark chocolate.
If you are using semi-dark chocolate use less sugar because semi-dark chocolate is much sweeter.
You can garnish the hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows, or sprinkle chopped dark chocolate.
