Chauli Ki Sabzi | Green Beans Recipe | Indian Recipe | Indian Curry
Tasty homemade chauli sabzi or green bean recipe with a burst of Indian flavors and spices on your plate. It is a quick and easy lunch recipe to make for your family.
Serves 3-4 Person
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- ¼ tsp Hing / Asafoetida
- 250-300 grams Green Beans / Chauli
- 2 Eggplants / Ringan
- 1 Potato
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Cumin-Coriander Powder
- 2 tsp Red Chili Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- ¼ Garam Masala
- Water as required
- Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Method:
1. Place a wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and let the sputter.
2. Then add hing or asafoetida to the oil.
3. Later, add the veggies to the oil. Mix it well and close the lid.
4. After some time, open the lid and mix it well. Keep mixing in between.
5. Then again, open the lid, mix it, and add ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp cumin-coriander powder, 2 tsp red chili powder, salt to taste, 1 chopped tomatoes, and water as required. Stir it well.
6. Close the lid for 2-4 mins and let it cook. Then add 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, ¼ tsp garam masala, and mix it. Keep mixing in between.
7. Once cooked, add fresh coriander leaves for garnishing, and the curry is ready to serve. You can serve it with Indian bread, roti, or chapati and salad on the side.
