Mouthwatering Guvar Sabji | Cluster Beans – Try It Today!

Serves: 4 People

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 tbsp of Oil
  • 1/4 tsp of Carom seeds
  • 500 gm of Chopped Guvar
  • 1-2 Chopped Potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric 
  • 1 tsp of red chili
  • 1 tsp of cumin-coriander
  • 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste
  • Water as needed

Method:

  1. In a wok, heat 3 1/2 tbsp of oil. Once the oil is hot, add 1/4 tsp of carom seeds and let them sputter.
  2. Add the chopped guvar and potatoes, and mix them well. Cover and let them cook, stirring occasionally.
  3. Next, add salt, 1/2 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of red chili, and 1 tsp of cumin-coriander, and mix everything thoroughly. Allow it to cook for a while.
  4. Add 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Then, add water as needed to cook the sabji. Continue cooking for a bit longer until the water is absorbed. 
  5. Your guvar sabji is now ready to serve. Enjoy it with chapati or Indian bread, according to your preference.
