The traditional Punjabi sweet lassi is so flavorful and it is exceptionally known for its cooling and refreshing properties. It is thick and creamy in texture and has varieties of flavor added to it for a rich taste. Also, it is easy and simple to make at home with just a handful of ingredients in a couple of minutes.
Take a utensil or glass bowl. Add 5-6 ice cubes, 1.5 cups of yogurt/curd, 2.5 tbsp sugar, and some water. Using a hand churner/whisker, beat the yogurt until smooth. Then add ¼ tsp of cardamom powder and churn again.
Now take 2 serving mugs and pour the lassi in the mugs. Garnish it with some saffron strands and chopped nuts. Your thick and creamy sweet lassi is ready to sip. Serve it chilled and adorn it.
