Easy Restaurant-Style Jeera Rice Recipe | Ghee Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups of rice (washed 2-3 times)
  • 3 tablespoons of ghee
  • 1 teaspoon of jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 glasses of water (as needed)

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of ghee. Once the ghee is hot, add 1 teaspoon of jeera, 2 cloves, and 1 bay leaf. Allow them to sputter.
  2. Next, add the long-grain basmati rice to the pan. Give it a quick stir. Add water, salt to taste, and mix well.
  3. Cook the rice on medium heat until it is properly cooked. Adjust the amount of water as needed based on the quantity of rice.
  4. Your rice is now ready to be served. Enjoy it with your favorite curry or dal.
