- 1 bay leaf
- Salt to taste
- 2 glasses of water (as needed)
Method:
- In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of ghee. Once the ghee is hot, add 1 teaspoon of jeera, 2 cloves, and 1 bay leaf. Allow them to sputter.
- Next, add the long-grain basmati rice to the pan. Give it a quick stir. Add water, salt to taste, and mix well.
- Cook the rice on medium heat until it is properly cooked. Adjust the amount of water as needed based on the quantity of rice.
