It is not necessary to make the golden milk microwave recipe frothy. You can serve right away from the saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. But if you like, you can use a milk frother to make it similar to a latte drink. 

Be it an electric or hand frother, you can use a blender to make it frothy or a shaker like I am using in the recipe.

In addition, you can use an espresso shot along with the mug recipe or any choice of coffee mix.
